Why is my inlet manifold different to this one on ebay? Have they put a n/a manifold onto the turbo carb?

As you can see the piping is slightly different and could someone tell me what the item that is circled in red does (excuse my stupidity but I do not yet have a metro turbo haynes manual)
Also what does the piping coming off the inlet manifold do?

That could be a servo take off bolt to help servo assisted brakes.....

they are the same due to the casting number, pipes have been bent for some reason and the bit where the red circle goes is todo with the servo vacume take off

what would you use it for if you dont have servo assisted brakes then?
turbo gauge or and dump valve?
if so could you use the same hole for both by fitting a T piece on it?
or would you end up with a false reading on your turbo gauge? and a dodgy DV?

Can't see ebay in work, but the photobucket manifold is standard metro turbo with the water heater piped still on.

I use servo takeoff for my dumpvalve and boost gauge and MS signals.

Well they all come off the same point on the manifold but it's nothing clever, just 2 T-pieces. One at the manifold then one in the line to the boost gauge.
