Little few question before i plunging in....

can i keep existing Megajolt system when im megajolting my existing NA engine, then when my turbo motor dropped in, use it again without changing anything inside megajolt box ?

also MAP sensor. they are in MJ box... where is best place to get reading? at inlet manifold or one of carb pipes?

or are the map sensor not needed??

On a NA system you could use MAP sensor or throttle angle sensor. Both have pros and cons for NA use.

However for turbo use you DEFINATELY want MAP sensor, so buy this one and it will work OK on NA.

The MAP sensor is inside the megajolt case yes. Best place for the reading is in the inlet manifold, as the MAP sensor needs to see both vaccum and boost pressure, and that is the best place to do that.

Yes I know, but it has the advantage of beeing fully mapable (big advantage, earned some HP on that this year!), and more stabile without points breaking down at 8500 rpm..... I could not have used MAP on my engine with a miglia cam. TPS could be used, but its purpose is mainly to save fuel anyway I think, so its not much of a point on a racer...

On a racer and a wild cam it would help tame the cammyness of the engine.

TPS would?

strangely enough cammyness is not a major problem either, in my engine (1071 with 73.5 bore), STR930 cam, I can floor the pedal from 2700 rpm and it pulls. top effect is at 7000, but it doesnt drop much before 8000-8500.
