As far as I know, the XR2 calipers are to suit vented discs so are too wide for the mini application.

I have been looking for you Carlos watch this space.

I have been doing some experiments and i came to the conclusion that it would be possable but requiredmore engineering than i was prepared (as well a capable of) to do making the caliper fit the hub isnt the problem i found that as stated above they are a bit wide there where also a few other problems that i encountered i think i still have my little project diary some where. if ya want it will set the test rig up again and check the problems, maybe you will have some sucess :)

the mk 1 fiesta will fit fine and be more than enough for road use. they have a very large stainless piston in them. you can get a brand new pair for 60 quid. unless you have a pair to trade then it is 50 quid a pair.

Midlands

you got a contact number for the £60 a pair place mate?

Might fit a pair of these instead of my other brakes on me new car. Any idea if you can fit em under 10" rostyles?

just kidding dunno about rostyles. i fitted them under mambas, minilights, wellas, but they dont fit under reverse rims due to the metal flanges that are inside the rim *wink*

firm is called AUTO SILENCERS, Tynemouth Front Street, North Tyneside, NE30 4BP they do NOT do mail order mind.

tel. 0191 2576447

Tel them Richard Harrison said you did mk1 Fiesta callipers. (he will then go on about the charges if you dont have a set to trade in)

pretty positive it was like 30 - 35 per calliper) either way you can get a new set of brakes for less than 100 quid !!!!!!

if you order and pay for them, then sort out mail costs, i will box em up for you and ship em down..

Iam shocked you cant get these down South. I am advised by the bloke that they are the same as the Mk2 ones ? (solid disc that is)
