Didn't one of the companies that do the "Mini Action" dvds with Bill Sollis (Matt's car has been in one of them) do a rebuild dvd not that long ago? I seem to remember someone had watched it and thought it was quite good?

Got a copy, well worth the money for us 'less experienced' engine builders. Cover a bit about gearboxes and diffs as well

I also found this book quite good:

As the others said the Haynes manual is pretty good and gives you all the clearances you need.

Just remember that with engines you need to check/measure everything, and everything must be "RIGHT". Short cuts or guesswork or bodges will result in you being disappointed with the finished product.

It is too long winded to type a full guide here, the best way to learn is to have a go and then ask questions as and when you are not sure or are stuck on something.
