Right, i've finally got my Mini booked in at Peter Baldwins rolling road, should only take me 6 hours or so to get there from the lakes lol, oh well ....
Anyway i've made a list of things to do to the car before it goes, can anybody think of anything else important i've missed ?

Besides video camera, money, mobile ...

Clean air filter, check dashpot oil, tyre pressures, set valve clearances, fit new plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and oil and filter change ...

Anything else ?

Take at least ONE spare plug with you, aswell as EVERY tool you own! LOL!

Next - if you're plannign on running big boost, chances are you'll find the limit of the single grey - especially on the rollers - so be prepared to either not run all the boost you planned, OR think ahead and swap in a stronger clutch just for the day maybe?

If I were you - I'd plot a journey, and see if you can stop by a fellow TM's house - beers and a roof over your head is better than doing there and back in a single day...

Also usually worth setting tyre pressures higher than normal on the rollers.

either a notebook or a video or cassette recorder ,that way you can write down or record what happens,cos its very easy to be thinking bout it later on that week and get all tangled up in what you thought happened or where you thought the timing was etc

If you have adjustable suspension, take the tools to enable the front to be adjusted in case your downpipe fouls the rollers.

You want the tank as empty as possible makes it lighter, should go better. LOl

Also add some Maxpower stickers, I over heard someone called Chavalion (Chav for short) in Halfords car park, saying they add AT LEAST 10BHP!!

On a serious note, It sounds like you've got things covered.

fuel filter? your on a dizzy arn't you?? I'd also be tempted to take a spare just in case.

and take some oil with you too, just incase
