seeing as my turbo's in bits at the minute i've stuck my megajolt onto my bog standard daily driver 998 to get rid of wet dizzy problems that were doing me tits in.

Went out last with anton to try and map it a little as it was still running the turbo map but got some strange readings. Should you be able to get a MAP value over 100kpa on an n/a engine? we were getting 106kpa at full throttle, whereas ants n/a 1293 was seeing 96kpa max. Is my MAP sensor a bit dicky, or can you get values over 100 on n/a?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

On a similar note (sorry to hi-jack but good to keep similar things in the same place)

My emerald seems to read in Bar gauge, not bar absolute. that sound right?

i.e. 0 Kpa with the engine not running

not that i have delt with this before but, Its' my understanding that this can and does happen due to inertial raming.

I have heard of the equivalent of 2psi boost??? which sounds a bit much to me, i would epect that its possible to get the equivalent of maybe .5 psi max, wihch about ties up with 106kpa.

yup mine feels a hell of a lot better now. Still might get it setup properly though, its using more fuel than my turbo did at the minute.

driving up the motoray on me way back from ants last night it sat at 65 with no troubles, before the jolt it struggled plodding along at 55...

(sorry about this)
im thinking of upgrading to Megajolt before i get my turbo stuff going. (998 with stage 1 kit)
(mainly for reliability)

once its set up what difference will it make?
economy?
power (heres hoping)
torque (same as above lol)

and ive seen screenshots of it and its scared the hell out of me....how hard is it to set up (electronically set up, not wiring everything)
thanks

Project - 998 turbo

hmm thanks.
at the moment ive got a lucas sports coil and an aldon dizzy (came with the car, *happy* )

so there are noticable improvements once it is set up then? *rubs chin* my problem would be just initially setting it up to get to a RR.
