I saw a fiesta with RED edis (red box with ESC on it), i took the VR sensor, Spark leads, Coil pack.

and i would like to take the EDIS wiring loom out as well. is this loom suitable or am i best off to find a black EDIS with wiring loom so i could make one.

i.e are they both same but different EDIS ?

The Red ones are different, and have a vac pipe going into them. However the plug is the same, so if you just needed to the plug to attach your own wires to you may be OK. However to prevent potential fuck ups I'd personally try to get the loom off a car with the correct "black" EDIS.

Reason im asking.. as i got a abanoned MK3 Fiesta with 1.3? engine sitting outside my lock up.
so i thought i use the oppurinity to take the bits out of it. the fiestra is smashed up. no headlights, etc etc however i felt gulity of taking bits out of it.
