Guys just a quick heads up. I contacted the store owner of www.componentsuk.co.uk yesterday about using these displays and his reply was this:

"Hi John, Thanks for your email..

If you plan on using our LCD's within a car or running them directly off a 12V supply you will need to use the following lead in junction with it..



The actual LCD's do not run off 12V they run off the 5V rail inside your computer PSU and running these directly off 12V can and will destroy the unit.
