We insure the TT for storage and transport, so not actually insured for events. However, a mate insures his Fiesta for road and hillclimb use. I've had no issues with them, and would recomend them.

I've just been quoted £214 for TPFT by HIC for my N/A MG Metro engined Sprite.

I agree with TD/Iain about the trackdy cover, it isn't really worth a wank.

re: track day cover ...... there are very few accidents on the track , most of them are within 400yds of the enterance to the track ..it is amazing how a car can come off the road so close to the enterance !! i am surprised that car ins companies say no cover within 5 miles of any track ..lol Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

Mine does cover me for hillclimbs as I am the only other car on the track, though is as stated useless for track days. Is that with HIC? If so do you have to pay extra for it? I phoned them up and specifally asked if Hillclimbing was covered and I was told it's not as it counts as motorsport, where track days such as the Mini day at Coombe are covered as they are non competative. :( Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
