how much boost is the safe limit for a stock metro turbo engine with a mirage/t2 and r5 intercooler? |

prob bout 10psi if set up but very hard to tell, rr it "Can I legally marry people now that I am ordained in the Church of the SubGenius?" aka i know jack sh"t

before you rolling road it i would only run a few psi boot just to check everything works i.e. fuel presure rises with boot etc. After about 8 - 10 psi |

need to build it first, but a rr session would most definately be one of the first things i would do. would 10psi be a nice road engine? |

Get a gunson fuel pressure gauge(halford £16 ish) set to 4psi on idle,then stick it on the windscreen behind the wiper.................out for a blast and make sure it stays higher pressure than the boost gauge

I used 10/12 psi on my first std metro unit which also was intercooled on std c/r, alway use 98 fuel (or more lucky guys ) and it will do a good and very reliable matey.
