boost problem.pos air leak

been running my car now for few days taking it easy on low boost.
i was driving it early and i gave it full throttle in second and it boosted up to about 4 psi and then all of sudden it cut out lik i had ancor the brakes on. so i eased off slowed down and it was fine wel seemed ok. but then when i pulled of again itdoesnt boost. the gauge stays in vaccum. you can hear a kind of leaking noise too when boot it. also there is white smoke now. is this just simply air leaking in from somewhere. or could it be seriuos. the thing is it still seems to drive and tick over ok as long as you just tak it easy and you hardly any throttle because when you do it doesnt make boost anyways

any help much appreciated.

well white smoke indicates a blown head gasket
adn you abvisly have blown a inlet pipe some were if you aint registering boost but also check acutator is seating properly i had this problem with mine at the start of my turbo days.
