Not really worth it one su will do atleast 200 Bhp

I think it's as they are less efficient when sucking air through,but when you have a turbo blowing air through, it increases the efficiency of the carb

If someone wants to do a twin - then they might ultimately find success :)

would it not be better putting twin webbers on with a supercharger ? if that is within the realms of sanity ?

they used to fit the twin su`s to non turbo minis as it was believed they flow better (as mentioned above) also i dont belive they had 1" 3/4 carbs back then.. to be fair if you were going to go that route it would be pioneering but a mega hassle......wonder if you could twin turbo it and have one per carb probably not worth it, bearing in mind what you can get from the regular setup :)
