Newbee question - Bulkhead modifications.

Hi. Stumbled across this site yesterday and spent an hour or so looking around. I'm building up a bare shell and am getting close to the point of fitting the engine. I was going to go the normally asperated route with a few mods but after looking here forced induction looks a lot more fun. I'm now thinking of a T2 setup on a Metro Turbo lump as I'm only looking for something around 100bhp or so to start with.

Apologies if this is a common question but I couldn't find a definitive answer to this. Do I REALLY need to fit a bulkhead box with a T2 on Metro Turbo manifolds? Has anyone tried moving the engine forward a little in the subframe and maybe tilting it forwards? I assume it's the exhaust turbine that hits the bulkhead and not the base of the SU. I know the Mirage manifolds don't need a bulkhead box but they're out of my budget.
