Air Force Blue...That didn't even cross my mind, and I spent 13 years in the RAF, maybe it affected my braincells, or was that the paint fumes...

I like "blue movie" but what about the cream colour on the top.....Oh I see!!

If anyone is interested its actually "strong blue" from PPG, I am just deciding weather to paint the arches body colour or leave them black, perhaps when I get some chrome on it will be easier to decide.

Yup All my own work, Proof is that the garage floor is now the same colour. Thats the second car I have sprayed, used a two pack single stage (cheaper) paint this time (I borrowed a fresh air respirator) and it went well, just the dry time was a bit slow for home spraying, I got quite a bit of dust but had sprayed on an extra coat to allow for colour sanding, I have sanded it back now and it looks fine, Not a show car this time so didn't go daft on the colour sand, just knocked the tops off of the dust spots.

Trouble was I only had one foam buffing pad I washed it, then had the brilliant idea of putting it back on the polisher at the highest speed to "spin dry"..well the extra weight of the water made the sponge disintegrate so buffing has stopped whilst I wait for a replacement pad to be delivered..
