First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

i heard that too

i hate newsbeat on radio one, it makes me think of clueless old people ranting on, sat under those hair curler things in the hair dressers

some dork was on there moaning that his insurance was £1200, well duh, mine was £1200 5 years ago on a 998 mini, shut up and get a job, or get mummy and daddy to pay for it like they did your nice shiny car

oooooh it fills me with rage

another thing with insurance is that because i had a car stolen which was not recovered it is classed as my fault!! and not only that it has to go on record for 5 years!! so now when i want a slightly exciting everyday car im looking at atleast £1500 to insure it

in the past 2 years and 8 months ive driven over 75000 miles, had no accidents, no tickets of any sort and i cant even get put on the insurance of a landrover series 1 that does 50mph on a 1000 mile policy!!!#

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR oh im so wound up now i wont be able to sleep

I insured through Esure this year less than £400 for the Legacy.

The 40% was a headline figure, 16% was touted as an average increase. TBH, that would generally put NU inline with a lot of other quotes I got this year, as they wer next cheapest after Esure

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Near Daventry, midlands

I tend to try and avoid NU where possible, their general service is typically worse than most of the 'budget' insurers

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

Eek, that's about what I was paying for my MG Metro Turbo, 5 years ago, so I sold it and got a 988 Mini.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

i'm assuming "young" is under 25's?

i was with NU for a few years but now with admiral as they were cheaper on the rallye. NU dont seem to like performance cars and young drivers *happy*

Working up the BHP ladder.

Hardly suprising there are a lot of uninsured old bangers on the road. Who is gonna pay £1000 to insure a £200 car.

There is no logic to these peoples thinking!!

Unfortunatly it's not that simple, but it is reasonablt logical, as quotes are based on statistice - pure and simple. No-one would insure a £200 car fully comp, so the insurance cost is purely based on the driver and statistics of the car.

Insurance is a necessary evil, but I can see how it would be fraustrating that it can cost more than a car is worth.

thats it, if the insurance companies paid out properly to replace the car i reckon that there would be a lot less claims for "whiplash" etc.

i think penalising those who actually "cause" an accident is the best option.

hopefully if the police clamp down on uninsured drivers liek they say insurance premiums will come back down... *happy*
