My car has metro turbo 4 pots and metro hubs on it. At the moment it has 13" wheels with 4 knackered tyres. Because i'm poor and need to get the car through the MOT, i can't afford to spend over £200 on new tyres just yet for them. So i bought 4 cheap 12" rims with good tyres from the bay.

Tried fitting them at the weekend and they have smaller centres to the 13"s so won't fit over the 4 things around the outside of the castle nut.

What's the best way to sort this? Buy a set of standard mini hubs without these and bolt them to the metro discs or to grind the metro ones down?

erm, i guess you could do it in situ, just watch the sparks on the paint.

if you (or any one else) are interested i have a new pair of uprated metro flanges (en21) with no lugs that I bought by mistake, 0pen to offers before i ebay them.

When i looked at them to grind them, i was a little worried about damaging the studs.

Cheers for the replies guys. :)
