hello i´m from portugal and i am a owner of a mg metro turbo engine without turbo and i want a engine to produce more than 140 150 bhp wath do you think i need to do that?today i have find a lot of turbos and i don´t know wath is the better choice a garret t2 or a IHI VL7...please give-me help if you could send me a mail to andre_karine@sapo.pt

t2 will probably be easier as the adaptor plates to fit them to the standard mainfolds are readily available. If you want 140bhp then you will need:-
- lower compression head
- maybe lower compression pistons
- intercooler
- either uprated actuator or bleed valve
- RR set up

All of this assumes that the engine is in good working order. If in doubt, rebuild. Will save a lot of hassle in the long run.
