looks like it,,,if you are worried it 8nt a mark 1 shell, look on the bulkhead, the floorpan will overlap over the bulkead (into he engine bay) bad design as water runs in

Later MK1s had the same as newer ones. If the window WITH rubber is as wide as the bootlid, it's a Mk1. Easy way to tell. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

also it should not have a hole in the tunnel as the gearchange should go through bulkhead (unless previous owner has cut it)
