If its the gold coloured one its not for use with the metro turbo dissy, or any dissy that has an electrinic module on the side.

that no good for a turbo. its only for ballasted ignition systems. there designed to run on 9v not 12v and will sooon burn out. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

I know this is an old post but for elec dizzy you should use the OEM coil for the electronic ignition - (Part number GCL143 (LUCAS DLB 198 or the Duleclier coil GCL 143), plus non resistor plugs with a 0.035 gap, and a full fat 12v supply. I'd also recomend NGK B7ECS or up to 10psi boost or B8ECS above that.

If you have resistor leads, then you want a standard plug, if you use non resistor leads, you want resitor plugs. NOT BOTH Resistor plugs choice - BPR6ES BPR7ES BPR8ES Electronic ignition needs some resistance somewhere to reduce electrical noise (suppression) Make sure the resistance of the lead and plug are no more than 5K ohm Edited by Sprocket on 13th Dec, 2008. Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:
