as per title, i will be ripping the donor car to bits over the next 14 days it is a L reg (old l) i think that makes it 73, has the big roof gutter on...the shell is solid and has been de seamed (except roof) and is currently in primer. bad bits are there are 6 small square holes from where i will be cutting the cage out ! the rear bins have been removed too (offers on shell,,,, swap for bits,,,,,,, or just drag it away minus its subframes)

i will want cash for the subby *wink*

it ialso has hi los on, bit i need to check if they are the legit or copy ones.

any of this interest anyone ? i live in North Tyneside (toon)

how much roughly are you looking for for the sub frame?

Im in need of a twin bolt subby for my mk3 and just spent all my time rebuilding a single bolt type (not knowing i needed a twin bolt D'uh!!) so have hi lo's and all the suspension parts to fit over so just need a bare subframe although im on a very tight budget due to being off work for 2 months with broken ankle!!

I could arrange a courier service to collect it if needed.

I cant really argue with that.

Do you think the subframe will weigh under 35 kilos? as then i can get it posted for £19.99 from postvan.com,

i weighed my new style one and it was only 20 something with arms, rubbers and hilos but i dont know if the older ones where built with thicker better quality materials like the old shells used to be.
