i'v try'd the search button but havnt been able to find a straight answer for a few of these questions. For my 998 turbo engine, will a 1 3/4 inch exhaust do the trick? How many row oil cooler is nesisary if im using an intercooler and 3 core radiator? Is a 3 core radiator thicker than a two core radiator and if so are there any modifications involved in making it fit? And last of all will "new" cast pistons be ok in my engine on 8psi boost?

Any imput is much appreciated!

Im not 100% myself on this, but from what ive gathered from various threads...

A 1.75" will work ok, but on nearly all turbo engines, a less restrictive exhaust = more power potential. Im going to use a 2" system and a Benross modified elbow.

As for oil coolers, i think the general concensus is firstly to fit a oil temp guage, and if the oil is indeed getting too hot, then go down the oil cooler route, preferably with an oil stat so the oil doesnt run too cold.

As for radiators, never used a core, so cant be of any help.

From peoples comments on here, cast pistons seem to be fine for turbo applications.

May i ask what pistons your using in the 998 (?)

"Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

"did you know you can toast potato waffles?"
