hi, im fitting a recon t2 to an mg metro turbo manifold. i am making the adaptor plate myself. was wondering if the t2 uses the same actuator as the standard mg metro t3? thanks

T2-s usually have a small actuator - but use whatever you want, so long as you have space. On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

does it make a difference in performance if i use my t3 actuator with the t2 turbo? |

An actuator is an actuator. It moves the rod at a preset boost pressure. As long as it works it will do fine, as Dave says, as long as it will physically fit in the space available. Obviously different actuators are available to achieve different boost levels.
