anyone got an idea how much a '62 traveller is worth in good nick??

tried to price them but cant find another.

Worth is a bit difficult, concider the fact that they are not common and that if you do find one you'll have to restore it, 4k at this point starts to look very very cheap!

I know of travelers which have sold for upwards of 8 grand. Prices other than that go for what u expect, i.e original ones are worth more than resto's with hardly any original parts/'bitsas'. Ones which have'nt been modified are extremely hard to find.

Before i bought my van i looked at buying a fully on early woody, but as soon as i realised that rot boxes were going for well over a grand and a half i backed off (this is pretty much the going rate for all non saloons btw (i.e very early vans/pickups in rotbox condition) and is why i jumped at the chance to buy a swiss-cheese style van at £200 delivered! - i had been looking for about 18months before i found that)

yeh quickly get it home, rip its guts out and chuck in a nice metty turbo lump, carbo fibre arches etc etc cut a nice big hole in ure bonnet for ya intercooler and she will be priceless !

cant possibly do that! think a std resto is in order. with a warm 1000 on a magic wand.

1962 one owner traveller. all std. no engine tho.
wood in condition. all bills and mot's. been in garage with a started resto for 10 yrs.

i have anb original 1969 850 cc engine complete has only done 25k from new !!! but its remote not wand change ???

I have a 850 with magic wand in my car, it got a set of Speedwell rockers and twin 1.5 on Speedwell manifoils. I do like the small bore engines :)

it has had a replacement roof put on in the early 70's according to the bloke so it doesnt have the smooth roof. gutted. its very doable though. turns out its a 61 woody not 62. no engine but a 1000 on a magic wand is the way i think. he has loads and loads of rare spares for it too. loving your dads woody dicanio. gives me a light to aim my tunnel at!!!

i have a picture of me ready for my first ever day at school standing proud next to my mums woody traveler i look so cute in my little shorts and my packed lunch
