Hi all wonder if i can have your opinion on rear subframe replacement for a beam axle?

Car currently running hi-lo's all round but rear subframe is shot & requires replacing. Do i fit another subframe or purchase a beam axle with coilovers? What are the advantages/disavantages of using the coilovers? I know it saves weight etc but do you get a decent amount of adjustment for the ride height? The kit i'm looking at is from Huddersfield mini spares.

PS. Car is for fast road use only not track etc & has a 1275 Turbo lump up front.
Regards,

Supereds.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

for road applications in my book for get it! *wink*

stick with the subframe my friend

rear beam configurations are for track cars to save a few pounds and they need to be set up correctley as well!

go on a diet if your over weight will serve the same purpose

also it saves you filling from dropping out *laughing*

not having to fit the coil overs as in the UK there are more speed bumps than cars nowadays
