I guess on supercharger installtion, interia is quite heavy.

How good is the supercharger with ultralightweight flywheel's interia compared to N/A stock A+ 1275 with stock flywheel?

Does it rev freely? what about throttle respone?

I'll have a think about the maths for that one. Mine seemed pretty similar with a lightened verto wheel. I'll see what it's like with my alloy flywheel/backplate which is about 8lb all in.

Vizard talks about surplus power for accelleration which you need a spangly engine dyno to measure. Not sure how it works but I'll have a think about it. It isn't as simple as power taken:power produced.

You could get the power required graph off eatons website and then do some maths on the weight of your bits to get a power required to accellerate figure. Deduct one from the other and you'll have a comparison.

Having said, flywheel lightening is not that simple maths wise.

I suppose the answer is to drive one of each and have an idea. But it's a different animal!

Which goes the quickest? Hehe There's your answer.

Bugger off, I'm getting there.
