i've had my cage blasted & i've primed it in red-oxide primer, i love this colour!!! what i need to know is does this stuff need to be covered with matt or satin finish laquer or can it be left as is, cheers guys

If your leaving the primer as a top coat then I would laquer it aswell, primers are porouse (spelling?), and will not protect against rust.

As red oxide primer gives anti rust protection this SHOULDN'T be the case, but it is still best to give that extra protection against the dreaded!!

Matt and Satin are much the same really!
