Been browsing the net looking to buy an MBC, and noticed there are loads of different sorts, most look homemade, some made from brass, some plastic etc etc

just wondering which is the most desirable one to have, should i look out for any sort inparticular,or do they all do the same thing?

manual boost controller, I don't think anyone in the top 10 of class D was running one of these this year. Why bother??

fair enough, might stick with the usual bleed valve arrangement but was under the impression they were superior...?

im running the 3bar one on the bike joey , and its working well i think boost comes in a little better ,cos it stops the signal getting to the wastegate and cracking it open earlier than the boost point.

yeah, after looking up ALL the old threads debating the pro's and cons of mbc vs. bleed valves, on paper the mbc's seem much better, but no one seems to have a decisive conclusion..

IMO....

Techinically the MBC is _slightly_ superior to a bleed valve.

However, this slight superiority does not justify the extra cost,so just use a bleed valve.

I've got a MBC, in my garage, it was useless.

It couldnt get 10psi from my 4psi actuator, so i've got the bleed valve back on it.
