Well, the saga continues.

The good news is that my car now has an MOT, Tax and Insurance.

The bad news is that when I got back from the MOT, there was an oil slick under the car.

Same place as before, coming from the transfer case, dripping off the split pin.

Poo.

I no longer suspect the primary gear or the clutch oil seal. I thought last time, when I found that the primary gear bush had worn, that was it.

I'm now suspecting that oil is coming down alongside one of the bolts that holds the transfer case to the gearbox.

My chief mechanic is currently stripping the 998 turbo donor to check if this is a blind hole or drilled right through.

Oh well, yet another weekend under the car - when will it all end?
