I'm doing some files for Jimster to get laser-cut, but need to know what is the most common thickness around 3mm?

Is steel still being measured in swg, or is it generally metricified nowadays?

10 gauge is 3.25mm.....this is probably the closest commonly available to 3mm, most places I have dealt with generally work in swg still.

oh yes you can!

As I continully tell my fellow designers; The inch is all well and good - but it's around 25.4 times too large for any use :)
