I'm doing some files for Jimster to get laser-cut, but need to know what is the most common thickness around 3mm?

10 gauge is 3.25mm.....this is probably the closest commonly available to 3mm, most places I have dealt with generally work in swg still.

depending what the steel sheet is used for, bodypanels are between from 16swg-24swg depending on age & manufactuer SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

i work in fabrication and we regularly use and ask for 3mm sheet.
