As the MG cam is used a lot in turbo motors - I'm proposing to swap an MG n/a cam I have for a "normal" A+ cam. Basically I'm building another K headed motor and don't want to turn the lobes off a cam one of you guys could use - the only other cams I have around are performance na cams and I don't want to turn the lobes off these either.

Hence will swap my very good condition MG cam for an A+ "anything" as long as bearing faces are ok - I'll pay for the postage one way if you do the same back.

pm me if this is of interest to anyone

cheers

John

If Carling made Mini engines

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

So it's not a "Tri-Cam" motor! LOL.

Just out of interest, how did you get on turning the lobes down jim, I would have thought they would be bloody hard and would not have taken kindly to being machined?

I bought one from Kent Cams for £45 - sounds like a bargain for all the machining involved?
