As the MG cam is used a lot in turbo motors - I'm proposing to swap an MG n/a cam I have for a "normal" A+ cam. Basically I'm building another K headed motor and don't want to turn the lobes off a cam one of you guys could use - the only other cams I have around are performance na cams and I don't want to turn the lobes off these either.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

So it's not a "Tri-Cam" motor! LOL. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

well it is, but one of the cams is a very long duration, about 360 degrees On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

Just out of interest, how did you get on turning the lobes down jim, I would have thought they would be bloody hard and would not have taken kindly to being machined?

I bought one from Kent Cams for £45 - sounds like a bargain for all the machining involved? On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:
