I'd like to put some security behind my garage as there is enough space to store stuff behind there but I want to stop people nipping over the fence (made of gravel boards not wooden panels) and nicking stuff. There is easy access from the garden that backs onto mine, plus there's no way to see what's going on as the view from the house is blocked by the garage.

I thought razor/barbed wire would be a possible solution, but I found this

How does the duty of care apply to companies that use razor wire/spiked fences etc. to protect their premises? Would I get into trouble for "storing" razor wire at the bottom of the fence behind my garage? *wink*

Cover the fence in normal wire mesh and connect it to Automotive coil with a simple oscillator!!!!!
They'll only try it once!!!*happy*
