he says:

"The actuator spring is a -31 type, a rising rate spring which when used without a boost control solenoid, can be made to produce boost in between 6-25psi, this is done by adjusting the preload on the main shaft with the turnbuckle (not supplied)."

Am I right in thinking the 'turnbuckle' is the bit attached to the wastegate lever? And basically this actuator can be set simply by adjusting the preload?

The -31 is inch's of water in a manometre which is the same as the psi rating.
Normal preload is approx 3mm,if you go up to 6mm you gain a couple of psi.
Also If you undo the end you can get different rate springs from forge

cheers dangerous, just wondering what sort of boost an engine would make if i fitted the above actuator to it? 6 psi with normal preload?

31 x (0.4912/1) = 15.227 PSI
