Ive noticed that my ports on my head are larger then the ports on my inlet manifold, would there be any advantage to inlarging the bore of the inlet?

It should improve the airflow but im not sure if it will cause any problems with setting the carb up etc?

If it is possible is there an optimum size to go to?

Cheers Matt

would it make that much difference when you have 12psi shoving the mix through?

I guess any flowing or increasing of port size can be good.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

be very carefull in touching the turbo inlet manifold as .....
British Leyland have done there home work on this one and have it just ...Spot On!

if you play around with the port sizes on the head & manifold inlets too much!

you will run into port velocity which will make your motor untractable at low speeds, a compramise is the goal for you here matty

i am only scratching the surface here but please take my advice

the mods we taked about are the best in terms the above *wink*
