Anybody knows how can i modify my rear suspension arms and make them longer like the australian moke? I think those are about 7cm longer than the normal arms. I know that there is an aluminium kit but thats too expensive...about 600GBP

like the australian moke? are they?? i never realised that i shall get my tape measure out you will it hard to cut them cut and welded as they are cast, although it is possible however would you want to risk it, the arms get quite a hammering, probably best to get some custom tubular ones made up im sure ive seen some tubular arms that fast carl on here made up, might be worth asking him... |

The arms are cast steel - not grey iron - so would be pretty easy to weld once you'd shot-blated them inside and out I'd have thought? On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

i think you can get spacers from watson for the vaux/honda conversions that space the whole rear hub assemble outward which enables much larger wheels and madder offsets to be used. "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

If you extended the arms by 7cm on my car I wouldn't be able to fit 13", they'd just smack into the rear valance. I've 2cm maximim gap. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
