I have seen an internal mini bonnet release used, a captive nut fitted in the grp inner skin with the "spike" from the bonnet for the want of a better word screwed into it and the catch asy from the slam pannel fitted to a custom bracket on the underside of the parcel shelf, wasnt the best job but worked, Im sure there is a better way, maybe utilising an electronic solonoid of a newer car maybe? |

I sucessfully used a cable operated internal release using a latch from an up and over garage door! No electric and a tandem mountain bike rear brake cable will reach! |
