Agree with the friday theme!

Just to throw in another idea at this point, on July the 19th, august 2nd and august 26th the company are holding events at the same track on the following day. They could do a deal on these dates for a 2 day track event. Maybe a bit too much track time me thinks but nevertheless another quality idea.

I'm sure 'some' of the guys here would be quite happy with a date that was after the 'showdown' (July 16/17).

the chances of everyone agreeing on the same date seem so slim.

I've tried organising stuff where people have a choice of dates, and found we never actually got anything organised.

There's alot to choose from. Maybe narrow it down to 2 dates and go with the majority.

How about we limit it to either July 26th to 30th or August 2nd to 5th. I've looked at my race dates and these are best for me. I will organise the day even if I can't make it but I would rather take part aswell.

Yeah, i struggled sorting a day for the RR, ended up just picking one and going from there. Have to say friday would be best purely for those of us who have a fair bit of travelling otherwise it means 2 days off work.

Giallofly, agree with the timeless wasters, had a fair few for the RR. Not talking about those who genuinely couldnt make it, just some people mostly 1 or 2 who i dont even think have a turbo mini! lol!

yep, i'll be able to get the day off easy, (one of the perks of a family business) whenever its decided for, a friday would be best though cos of travelling/piss up :)

never been on a track day before, so i'm well up for it!

Ok guys its gonna be Friday July 30th. Now all this depends on you lot following the book in procedure and paying a deposit. I won't book anything without firm commitment from you. We have to give the company plenty of notice so I would suggest that you all email me at dav2@btinternet.com with your daytime and evening phone numbers, and of course your real names. I will provisionally book the track with the company but will ask that we all book in and pay on the same day, date for payment to be announced, but I would like to give them at least a month or so's notice that we're coming.

I will send a confirmation email to all interested along with all details that I have.

Well guys, unfortunately there hasn't been a huge response on this so we have little alternative than to join a track day with other cars at Anglesey on June 30th. Anyone interested please maile me at dav2@btinternet.com Once people have tried the open pitlane format I'm sure that more will want to join in for the next one. I'll be there on June 30th and would enjoy seeing as many of you as possible.
