I think someone ios in the process of building one (is it clubbyturbo? I appologise as I should know).

I can't see a problem, you could eaisly build the engine to give max power around 6k so the limited rpm with the long stroke shouldn't be an issue.

limited rpm?! i never driven any car over 6k! i assume it would pop if it went over 6ish

iv just finished mine its 1152 so 60+. was ran on the dyno last weekend and made 97hp on 6psi. we were limiting it to around 6500rpm just to be on the samfe side but there where no problems at all

You need to start putting your foot down and hitting some revlimeters, it's grat fun. I suggest a test drive in a Honda S2000 which has a revlimit of over 9k.

I was never over 5k in the mini when it had the stage 1 998. Until I met that pesky kid in a Civic Sport that is...
