*angry*

just had 2-3 litres of por15 branded 'metal ready' rust converter stuff leak out of one of their containers completely messing up the surface of a pile of good cranks and a pile of good blocks that i had sorted out in my garage.

not a happy bunny as it appears to have done more damage than just get rid of non-existant rust on them. They now all have a blue/black goop over everything which seems to have set solid.

Warning to those who keep valuables and chemicals close together.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

andy if tom is finished with my crank, which was in good nick (was a cam6232) and it 8nt been killed by hardness testing then you can have it. i also have a few A+ blocks if you get stuck mate. just a thought though but would the cranks clean up if they were subject to a regrind perhaps ?

I wouldnt have minded if it were a pile of stuff that needed work, but this was a pile of blocks which had good bores/were linered and cranks which were hardly used/still well within spec from low mileage motors. Just a complete git.

cant complain at how the stuff works, its great stuff. just dont leave it to sit in large quantities on somethign important *frown*
