inserting pic???

ok , so when i click on add image , the little box comes up ,i paste www etc of pic and all it get is the www bit in my post ???
why
what am i doing wrong.

are you using [img]? it should be like this ....

"here is my pic ...." [ i m g ] url [ / i m g ] with no spaces at all

edit : has to put a space between the [ and the i otherwise all that appeared was a little red box

this is my 4th edit ... i cant NOT make a red X appear

you need img]url[/img with a [ at the start and a ] at the end

remove the space between [ and img and then after .jpg put [/img]

all i can see is a red x .... if you can see it but i cant that may mean that it isnt open to the public ... i think you can chage your settings at village photo's to allow this

if u want a tip ...... www.photobucket.com <--- its free to sign up, all it asks you for is a username and password (ie no form to fill out) and it gives u the link to post at the bottom of the photo .... easy as!

ok, i just went to the properties of your red X above :p ..... i copied and pasted the link into my browser and it came up with "user bandwith exceeded" this means that no-one will be able to see your pic till tomorrow as they have a limit as to how much traffic you can have a day ...... i say go with my above suggestion of photobucket

yep might of seen it eslewhere it was the only pic on photobucket i had , i`ll upload different ones sometime.

yep :) its all good :) obviously you picked the right coding. The other 2 are for different types of script.
obviously the URL is the link to the photo

the tag is used on things like myspace.com (html)

and the img is for places like this
