Can they be removed without taking out the engine and spiltting gearbox/block?

the best is a long 5/16 unf bolt which can be found on the rad bottom bracket.
always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |

I spillted my engine once. Never again!!! There was oil everywhere! On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

You need piston No. 1 at TDC though, otherwise the gear part of the shaft hits the crank.
