its for a original 998cc no turbo no exstras. I dont like the mechanic pump.

I cant get a metro pump, so i have to find a brand that can use, and i need to know what to modify to fit it to the engine.
Do i need a return line to the fueltank??

I need all help i can before i do some thing stupid again.

For a standard na 998 just get another standard fuel pump. They are up to the job of fuelling a 80ish bhp 1275cc engine so they are perfectly adequate on a 998 standard engine.

Why make things more complicated and expensive than necessary??

Piece of piss, undo the pipes, 2x 1/2" AF nuts, pull the bugger out!

New gaskets, smear of sealer, push new one in, tighten bolts.

Possibly easier to do from underneath, although its so long since I did one I cannot remember.

dont glue it on, just make a gasket out of card using the old one as a template...
