Was having a talk with a man from "turbo technics" About lowering the compretion on an mini engine! He advised a "Sandwich plate" Which as he decribed is a thin plate that goes inbtween the head and block. Has any one done this as it sound like a pile of bull to me? It would also mean using two head gaskets! More to go wrong if You ask me! When i asked where to get one he said that any good machine shop would be able to make one using a head gasket as a template???????? |

You'd be best getting one laser cut from Steel. If anyone is interested, i already have the 'Head Gasket' shape geometry ready for such a task...

Could it be an efficient way of dropping the compression dave, or is there more benefit to re-shaping/opening out the chambers in the head for best performance? |
