When running fuel lines internally (inside the car) must they be briaded? Does anybody know who sells braided hose this length in the correct diameter and how much it roughly costs |

to be honest id only use metal pipe weather runnin on the inside or outside. if you are set on braided pipe most good minisuppliers sell it but i think it is a bit expensive though no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Im just going to use solid stainless tubing, not that expensive and much safer inside the car. Then braided at each end for the flexible bits.

How easy is it to work with metal fuel lines? - for a relative novice that is? |

I use braided hos inside the car. To meet MSA regs you need it braided (probably for MOT too)

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

Surely pressure tested and approved tube is ok though? Basically stuff we use at work that is certified to 2000+psi.

Hmmm... I've just bought 3m of 8mm rubber fuel line from Avonbar. The guy there said that it was fine for the turbo conversion...?

yep, i used the same too! cant beat a bit of microbore, with some rubber for the connections and the awkward bends round the subframe/steering rack area On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:
