i think that the not restarting very well when hot is due to fuel vapourisation. if it is, i belive that you can make up some sort of heatshield to combat the problem. worth a try?
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

Yeah, keep your foot flat to the floor on hot start too. Usually works after a little bit. Bonnet vents of raising the back of the bonnet helps as well.
