Me again !!!

Ok ... now another question ... once my bulkhead is done

Can I drop the MG Metro Turbo engine into my mini with the whole assembly in place ? Turbo, Plenum, Downpipe etc ?

Or do I need to do some assembly once its in ?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Everything but the downpipe goes in fairly easily. *smiley*

you can indeed drop it st8 in... just watch you dont brake anything sticking out (like the carb or plenum!)

Others perfer to build the engine up once the block and head have been dropped in the bay.

i built mine up in the engine bay as i'd left the servo in so it made it a bit more of a squeeze.

mines all built up almost ive left the dizzy & altenator on too though so ill be ultra carefull! Thinking of cutting the top part of the front panel off like jimster and making it removeable if i have trouble though.

Im using pulleys hanging from a punchbag holding bracket on the wall! its ace! you can push the car under it and lower it in really easy.
