Well i was very pleased with 181bhp running 15psi, the plan was to run 16psi but could not bleed off any more air with my simple little bleed valve set-up but still very pleased.

And as for Matt!! well big big congratulations to him. As a few comparisons a new standard bmw cooper s was 177bhp, spot on according to bmw's figures. And a 1275 injection mini with rc40 and K & N made 66bhp. Matts then produced 284.5bhp on his second run due to slipping the clutch (for the first time) on the first.

Well done again mate.

Whilst Im no longer a fan of bleed valves.....

Try rstricting the feed line into the bleed valve from the compressor.

The valve then has less air to deal with. This may allow you to up the boost a bit.
It may also make it a little more sensitive to adjustments though. Takes a bit of experimenting.

RR figures are often only useful in the pub.....

Some read high, some read low, some may even read close to true...not very often though.

Well I think that slipping a double-grey diaphram is a world first - and is enough proof in the proverbial pudding of the torque output...

I assume this was some RR shootout day then?

Yes dave it was a mixture of bmw and classics at t & m colchester. Always get very acurate/genuine figures from these rollers, every standard car we know that goes on there gets very close to there surposed output.

mini 13, clutch did not slip on second run.

Thanks for advise steve, although as i only have a 6.5psi actuator i may get a 10psi one and the bleed off from there.
