can somebody tell me whats the easiest way to disconnect the weels from the gearbox, so to disconnect the driveshaft, because i'm trying to get my engine out. thanks |

if you release the top or bottom balljoints you will then be able to remove the driveshafts from the pots, dont forget to undo the driveshaft gaitors before trying to pull them out! ““A turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.”” - Jeremy Clarkson

its easy enough to remove the engine without undoing driveshafts or balljoints. if you undo the engine and jack it up slightly you can just get enough movement to knock the shafts out of the box. it can be tricky but a bit of practise and youll get the knack of it. if you cant do it like that then you can do as adam says. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
