Payen BK 450 is the gasket to have, make sure the head surfaces are spotless and flat.

if you wan the full turbo head gasket set with the proper manifold gasket get your motor factors to order you a payen DK451, thats the full head set and costs around £25.

BK450 is the part number for just the head gasket, DK451 is the code for the complete head set.

Play in the shaft, which direction? Axially or laterally? On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

no taz .. on top of each guide there is a black rubber oil seal , to replace them you need to remove the spring with a spring compressor and pop a new one on the top of the guide , its a classic place for minis to leak oil into the chamber and so create smoke . of course if its a new head or not v old then the seals would presumably be new and not need changing. well just spoke to Avonbar they recommended the rover gasket The Payen BK450 is identical to the Rover gasket.... In fact, Payen more than likely make them for Rover. Are proper turbo inlet/exhaust manifold gaskets still available ?? IS anyone using a steel shim head gasket yet ? 9.85 @ 145mph
