I'm after some advise.
I want to enter the british mini showdown next year!

What are the class restrictions?
At the moment the car is road legal 1330cc supercharged with nitrous and runs on 12" revolutions with 165/55/12 A048's

Can I run drag slicks of should I remain street legal?

I was thinking of removing the boot floor over the winter as its a bit plain and not in the best of conditions. I would then install an alloy tank and possibly a strut brace (coil overs all round).
Does this affect entry class?

The car already has a 2 piece fibreglass front, should I be looking for further weight reductions?

and you can't run the nitrous if you want to compete in class D with the rest of us.

So i'd have to run in class H?
And that does not look so competitive from last years results.
Where the 3rd place in class D would have beaten the 2nd place in class H

barr the nitrous and the slicks you could be in class D though.

I may be in class H next year depending on if i get mine road legal or not.

Haven't got slicks yet, but the massive difference nitrous makes, I really couldn't run without it.

So if I run nitrous and go into class H then I can run with slicks?

There's normally arguments as to the legality of using nitrous on the road.
All I can say is that i've told adrain flux that I have 184bhp with 50 shot of nitrous and they have insured me to run 234bhp!

So if I run in class H can I do whatever mods I like as long as its a mini shell and A series engine?
Remove the boot floor and steel fuel tank.
Fit a set of slicks etc.
