ive never tried this, but will a late single bolt frame fit a MK1 shell.

It will only fit a hydrolastic Mk1 as dry cars dont have the big hole. Obviously you would need mounts from subframe to floor and teardrops from subframe to front panel which MK1s dont have.
I seriously doubt it! |

i thought all the mk1's had the hole there, I guess my mk1 was a hydro one then...

i thought all the mk1's had the hole there, I guess my mk1 was a hydro one then...

i just like the fact that the rear mount is actually on the fold with mk1's whre its strongest.

isnt the mk1 bulkhead hollow where the big hole is so itd have to be strengthened with a tube or something to stop it squashing. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
